Vigier are known as one of the most advanced Guitar makers around. Since the late '80s they've been using a combination of carbon fiber and wood to create their beautiful range of Guitars. The first thing you notice with the new GV series is the impressive sustain, despite the light weight body. Second is the exclusive tailpiece and bridge that can be locked into place once you're happy with the setup, and reduces tuning and intonation problems. The Guitars also feature a zero fret, backed up by a teflon nut, reducing string breakage and friction. The Archtop Cutaway body shape has unusually spaced pickups for maximum tonal range, which are furthered by controls that allow a range of combinations including coil-tapping.Anyone who has played previous Vigier Guitars will be aware of the exceptional build quality, superb feel and dynamic reaction of the instrument, as well as the exceedingly fast neck! The GV Series (named after Georges Vigier, the company founder) doesn't disappoint, and is ready for whatever style of music you are!

It is a very exciting development in stringed instrument technology. It is a passive, all mechanical system based on trigonometry and some rudimentary physics. Hence it is a new technology that is actually old school, its main component being a spring set in a clever position. The benefits of this old school, all mechanical solution are that it is very rugged and reliable with only one moving part, and with all critical parts being made from high quality steel. It is also relatively reasonable in price, as opposed to servo-based (robotic) systems, and extremely effective. It is distinct from servo-based (robotic) tuner systems: they automatically tune strings for the player, the player tunes the strings with EverTune, EverTune only keeps the strings in the exact tune set by the player. If the point of a string on a stringed instrument is to play a specific note when the player plucks the string, then EverTune makes the string do its job magnificently for the life of the string. People have a lot of fun trying to get strings using the EverTune system out of tune. Browse around this site and other sites on the internet to see the growing number of videos and testimonials of people holding guitars by one string, taking guitars in and out of hot and cold environments, even turning the tuning machines, and then hitting chords that are still beautifully in tune! Will EverTune be in all stringed instruments in the future? EverTune is less a choice and more an option, ultimately the users will decide based on its strengths which situations and which guitars and other instruments are right for EverTune. For many people gigging on the road and at regular shows around town without the funds for a tech yet, they can carry one workhorse guitar with EverTune and be confident that they will always sound good. For pros, who want to be beautifully in tune before and after a crazy solo with five stop bends, and all the way through each of their songs, even with changing temperatures and humidity, EverTune is a must. For people who are doing TV gigs when the back stage is a way different environment then the stage with the lights, EverTune is flawless. For amateurs to pros with a stable of guitars, and one guitar in the stable that is a bear to keep in tune, EverTune is phenomenal.

History speaks for itself. The ES-335 is one of the most important guitars of all time. Right from its introduction in 1958 as the world's first semi-hollowbody electric guitar it has been a mainstay of players eager to balance the gorgeous, round, mellow tones perfect for jazz and blues with the edge and sustain of a full-blooded solidbody.Today the Gibson Custom Shop creates exacting duplicates of the ES-335 as it first left the Kalamazoo plant in 1958. That year just 267 were built, but the original vintage 335s grew steadily in popularity, peaking in 1967 thanks largely to Eric Clapton's high-profile use of a cherry ES-335 in the band Cream.

The classic of classic acoustics, the Hummingbird is instantly recognizable, both in look and it's warm acoustic sound. Made from Mahogany back and sides, with a Solid Spruce top that actually improves with age, it's easy to see and hear why this guitar has become a legend. From a company that has brought the guitar world so many great originals, the Hummingbird stands out strong and proud. Introduced in 1960 as Gibson's first square-shouldered dreadnought, the Hummingbird arrived at the dawn of a new era in music, and was rapidly embraced by several prime movers on the scene. In the hands of everyone from Keith Richards to Gram Parsons, it quickly proved itself equally adept at folk, country and rock, and excelled at many of the crossovers genres in between that helped to set the scene for the '60s. Much of the Hummingbird's appeal lies in its versatility. However you attack this flat-top, it pumps out rich, deep tones, and is equally at home thrumming out first-position chords as it is taking the spotlight for flatpicking leadlines further up the neck. Its spacious mahogany body and sweet, select Sitka spruce top are more than capable of nailing down the rhythm in the hands of a rock and roll sideman, or of accompanying the most nuanced performance under the fingers of today's alternative singer-songwriter. Made in the image of the original, in Gibson's acclaimed acoustic facility in Bozeman, MT, today's Hummingbird lives up to its pedigree, bringing you all of these capabilities and more as, quite simply, one of the finest acoustic guitars available today.
