Description
The Martin MM12 Retro Monel Acoustic Light 12-54 is suited to players wanting warm natural acoustic tone with reduced pick noise. Built with Martins proprietary Monel nickel/copper wrap wire these strings soften harsh pick attack so the character of your guitars tonewoods comes through more clearly. Instead of dominating the sound they allow the instrument itself to shape the voice you hear. The solid alloy construction is also naturally resistant to corrosion helping the strings last longer between changes. And when you plug in they maintain a balanced clear response that translates well through pickups. A standard ball end design makes restringing simple while humidity-resistant packaging keeps the set fresh until it reaches your guitar. If you want a set that reveals the natural voice of your acoustic these Retro strings are built to do exactly that.
